Sher Miandad´s relative, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, presentet the qawwaali tradition to the world through his cooperation with Peter Gabriel, Jan Garbarek and others. Sher Miandad carries the herritage in his own way, and is regarded as one of the greatest singers within this tradition in his homeland Pakistan.
